Clay High School Achieves Momentum Award


Clay High School was recently acknowledged as a recipient of the Ohio Department of Education and Workforce’s Momentum Award for results on the 2022-2023 state report card. 

This award is presented to schools that have improved their performance index by three (3) or more points from the 2021-2022 report card to the 2022-2023 report AND received a value-added rating of four (4) or more stars.  

Clay High School was one of only three (3) high schools of ten (10) total schools in Region 15 to earn this remarkable accomplishment. Region 15 comprises schools from Lawrence, Pike, Ross, and Scioto counties.  

Congratulations to Clay High School students, teachers, staff, and families for your commitment to academic excellence!  Great job, Panthers!

No discipline problems (Level 1 or above)
Did not receive a failing grade in any subject during the grading period

Scioto County Visually Literate High School Art Show

Congratulations to the following students for having artwork accepted to the 2024 Scioto County Visually Literate High School Art Show.

The dates of the exhibit are May 1 to May 14 at Shawnee State University Vern Riffe Center Appleton Gallery.  The closing awards ceremony will be held on May 14 at 6:00 PM.
