Elementary Summer Reading Fair

Grades 1st-5th have an opportunity to enter into the Clay Elementary Summer Reading Fair on the evening of Open House: August 21, 2023.

Click below for each grade level's list of suggested books from which to choose. Students will choose ONE book from the list and create a poster project on the book. Be creative on your poster! Include a summary of the book, characters, and what you liked most about the book. The reading fair will be optional, but we encourage each student to participate. You have the whole summer to read one book and create a poster!

Winners for best poster will be chosen for each grade level and prizes will be passed out. We are excited to encourage reading over the summer! :)

If you have any questions on the reading fair, feel free to email Mrs. Allison at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. .
