Parent-Teacher Conferences

Clay Local Schools will conduct Parent-Teacher Conferences on Thursday, February 17, 2022, from 1:30-7:00 PM. 

There will be NO SCHOOL for students on Thursday (2/17), Friday (2/18), and Monday (2/21).  Staff will have a professional development (PD) day on Thursday (2/17).

 

Clyde Ratliff, Former Clay Bus Driver, Passes

PORTSMOUTH - Clyde Ratliff, 88, of Portsmouth, passed away February 2, 2022, at his home. He was born January 23, 1934, to the late James and Goldie Mae (Graham) Ratliff in Louisa, KY. He worked at Empire Detroit Steel until it closed; he then worked as a bus driver for the Clay Local Schools and maintenance for Buckeye Towers in New Boston. Clyde loved to buy, sell, and trade anything. He was an avid sports fan, especially of the UK Wildcats and Clay Panthers.

Mr. Piguet Retirement

  

Mr. Tony Piguet will end his 38+ years in education at the conlcusion of the 2020-21 school year.
